Cleaning Supplies
- After playing, thread cloth through cleaning rod
- Take flute apart, then push cloth through all three sections
- It is important to keep the flute dry so the pads seal properly
- Use the cloth to wipe the two connecting joints of the flute
- This will make it easier to put together
- 1. Hold the head joint with the crown (top) towards the ceiling
- Do not put the head joint in completely under water as it will damage the cork
- Run warm water over the embouchure hole/lip plate and wash with soap.
- Use a soft cloth.
- Dish soap works great
- Massage gently, don't scrub
- Rinse and dry thoroughly with cleaning cloth
